I'm a blogger!!!
Hey everyone.
I’m in a reflective mood so let me take you on a little journey. Believe it or not I discovered blogs or what was called “forums” or “discussion boards” back in 1999. Yes I am dating myself. At that time I was running the marketing and communications for a small sports marketing company based out of Toronto. We ran every aspect of a badge brand and property called 24 Hours of Adrenalin, which became one of the largest mountain biking festivals in North America. After discovering forums and discussion boards, they quickly became an integral part of my marketing efforts. I couldn’t believe I could have a conversation with a customer and given I was working with small budgets it really allowed me to get engaged in a conversation with our brand fans without killing my budget.
Why am I telling you this you ask? 1. I’m happy to be back in the game and talking with you about what’s new and exciting, 2. I can’t wait to hear your input and feedback about what Mosaic is up to, 3. I learned early on that having a meaningful discussion and creating loyal customers goes a lot farther than pushing a mass message and 4. It is hard to believe that almost a decade has passed and having conversations with a brand fan or loyal customer is just starting to take off.
Thanks to some great new tools we have, we'll be helping more and more companies get engaged in online discussions with their brand fans and I can’t wait to be a part of it. So if you haven’t become a brand fan of Mosaic, be sure to sign up. See you at an experience soon!

It takes more than just snazzy vans and outgoing reps to deliver a winning brand experience (although having both certainly doesn’t hurt). Our senior execs have been around the block, both figuratively and literally, and have amassed a wealth of insights. As contributors to this blog they’re offering up this hands-on experience to you with a mere click. How nice is that?
Seems like a small world Chad (no pun intended regarding the website), but I used to race in 24 Hours of Adrenaline once a year at Hardwood Hills with some buddies from highschool. Talk about a successful event, 24 hours was an amazing experience every time. As for online Forums, and "blogging", I think you're spot on. The ability to articulate in a way that is personal, and allow other people to respond is something that isn't always present in industry. By allowing yourself the freedom to explain something, and giving other the ability to do the same is something that really is empowering. The amount of times I've read an editorial somewhere and wished I could respond to it immediately, (whether it be a question, comment, or a new take on the same subject) I couldnt count. In summary, great topic Chad, and maybe one day I'll see you out on the single-track. Brett
