The intoxicating smell of hotdogs on a barbeque, freshly cracked bottles of Budweiser, and faint notes of diesel can only mean one thing – the Budweiser Big Rig is back on the road hosting the wildest parties across the country. Being a Rig alumni myself, I have to admit that I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the program (oh, and Husky Truck Stops) – but biases aside, anyone who has been to a Big Rig event will tell you this is the craziest party on 18 wheels. With Canada Day celebrations in the bag, the next big event for true Canadian party animals is undoubtedly The Calgary Stampede which kicks off tomorrow. Naturally, the Bud Big Rig will be there again this year to quench the thirst of thousands of cowboys and girls and keep the party going all week.
